Definition of forest: A forest can be defined as a region with a high density of trees. Forest is the habitat for a variety of living beings including plants, animals and was microorganisms. Types of forest: >. Littoral and Swamp Forests. >. Tropical Dry Deciduous Forests. >. Tropical Thorn Forests. >. Subtropical Forests. >. Subtropical Pine Forests. >. Alpine Forests. Littoral and Swamp Forests Littoral and Swamp forests: These are more or less gregarious forests of low height which occur in the Arabian sea around the coast of Karachi and Pasni in Balochistan. The main species is Avicennia marina (99%). Other species like Rhizophora have disappeared over a period of time due to heaving cutting.  Classical Conditioning Theory   The theory was proposed by Ivan Pavlov (A Russian Scientist) to work digestive system  Published the experiment in 1897. 3-Awarded with noble prize in 1904. He is well known for classical conditioning theory where he trained a dog to salivate with the ringing bell .  <The idea behind the experiment :-   No body trains a dog to salivate but still they salivate when they see food. (It’s a natural occurring process) He kept a hungry dog in the lab and offered him meat in different time intervals.  Whenever dog saw the meat,it started to salivate. Later on, he started offering meat to dog with the ring of a bell.
